Legal Assistant – Regional Support

About the role

The Legal Assistant will support the Regional Legal Counsel in managing contracts and legal documents across the region. Working closely with HQ Legal, the role ensures smooth contract lifecycles, accurate record‑keeping, and efficient use of legal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support the contract lifecycle: draft, format, version‑control, amend, release, and quality‑check agreements with public and private entities.
• Perform contract management activities, including intake, verification, signature preparation, Adobe Sign processing, and execution tracking via the CLM system.
• Maintain matter files, regional agreement records, host‑country instruments, and version histories while observing confidentiality protocols.
• Operate the regional legal control desk, assigning and processing tickets and requests through departmental systems.
• Assist in updating, creating, and implementing processes, guidelines, and workflow optimizations for the legal function.
• Support rollout and adoption of Legal Department tools (Ticketing System, CLM, Adobe Sign, D365) and contribute to automation and reporting dashboards.
• Provide administrative support to the Regional Legal Counsel, coordinate external counsel packages, track deadlines, renewals, and obligations, and prepare meeting materials.
