About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology company in ensuring its micro‑tasking and freelance platforms comply with global regulations. This part‑time position involves reviewing policies, drafting legal documents, and advising on dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to data privacy, labor laws, and cross‑border transactions.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property issues and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Support the handling of user disputes and platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Monitor and interpret evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
