About the role

The Legal Officer (P3) will support UNEP’s Law Division in delivering environmental governance and legal assistance across programmes, including the Montevideo Programme V and sustainability initiatives in the textile sector.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and capacity‑building on environmental law and governance.
Deliver advisory services and thought leadership for the implementation of Multilateral Environmental Agreements.
Support the administration of legal technical assistance programmes related to sustainability and circularity.
