About the role
The United Nations is recruiting a Legal Officer (P3) for its Office of Administration of Justice, based in Nairobi, Westlands. The position is full-time and sits within the UN common system.
Required profile
- An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in international law; a first-level degree plus two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu.
- A minimum of five years of experience in law, including legal analysis, research and writing.
- Two years of litigation experience at national or international level, including first-hand experience appearing and leading the evidence of witnesses before a court or tribunal.
- Experience within the UN common system or other similar international organizations is desirable.
