About the role
Kenya Medical Training College is recruiting a Librarian for its library in Nairobi (Westlands). The post covers the management of library information services within the college.
Key responsibilities
- Manage library information services in the college
- Initiate orders for new books, journals and other periodicals, publications and materials needed by the library
- Index and abstract journal articles
- Handle library correspondence
- Maintain and update the KMTC database
- Edit and compile quarterly reports for the library section
- Carry out stocktaking of library resources
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Library Studies or Information Science, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Proficiency in computer applications
