Managing Director (Kenya)

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a purpose‑driven Managing Director to lead its Kenya operations. The MD will be the most senior leader in the country, responsible for delivering impact, driving team performance, and ensuring operational excellence while advancing strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a country‑level strategy aligned with Inkomoko’s enterprise goals and impact priorities.
• Lead the country portfolio, whether launching new markets or scaling mature ones, to achieve strong client outcomes.
• Monitor and manage local compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee performance against the Balanced Scorecard, ensuring strategic and operational milestones are met across all departments.
• Build and nurture relationships with government, donors, private sector partners, and other key stakeholders to position Inkomoko as an influential national player.
• Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team culture that reflects Inkomoko’s values of purpose, achievement, improvement, bravery, and collective celebration.
