Marketing Assistant

About the role

Victoria Courts is looking for an execution-driven Marketing Assistant to support fast-paced retail campaigns across its furniture business. The role combines creativity, data and commercial thinking, covering campaign execution, content creation, digital marketing, in-store activations and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Campaign execution: help plan and run sales, promotion and seasonal campaigns, coordinate with branches and sales teams, and track timelines and deliverables.
• Digital marketing: manage and update content on social media and WhatsApp, and help manage online leads and engagement funnels.
• In-store and branch marketing: support POS materials, signage and displays, keep brand messaging consistent across branches, and help organise activations and events.
• Content and creative work: develop marketing materials with designers, write basic copy for promotions, captions and SMS/WhatsApp campaigns, and capture photos and videos.
• Data and reporting: track footfall, leads, conversions and sales, maintain reports and dashboards, and give insights and recommendations.
• Customer-centric marketing: support engagement initiatives, help improve the customer journey online and offline, and assist in managing CRM or lead databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• 1-2 years' marketing experience; retail experience is a strong advantage.
• Basic understanding of content creation and digital marketing (social media, ads, content).
• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
