Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Officer

About the role

A supply chain technology company is hiring a Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Officer in Nairobi to support the growth of its technology solutions business. The role builds market awareness, generates qualified B2B leads and supports the sales team in converting prospects into customers, focusing on ERP systems, SaaS products and business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Digital marketing: run campaigns, manage LinkedIn and other social media, write product descriptions, email campaigns and sales presentations, and track campaign performance.
• Lead generation: research prospects in manufacturing, distribution and other sectors, reach out via LinkedIn and email, qualify prospects, schedule product demos and meetings, and keep CRM records up to date.
• Sales coordination: work with the Sales Manager on campaigns, support sales proposals and presentations, hand over leads to the sales team, gather competitor and market intelligence, and track conversions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, B2B lead generation, business development or technology sales support.
• Previous experience marketing or selling technology products, SaaS applications, ERP solutions or web-based business applications.
• Preferred: prior exposure to ERP systems such as Odoo or SAP Business One, and experience with a technology company or B2B software provider.

Required skills

• Digital marketing, LinkedIn prospecting, email campaigns and outbound engagement.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Zoho or HubSpot.
• Strong copywriting, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently generate and follow up on leads.
