About the role
The Medical Officer will join Tala Hospital in Machakos to deliver comprehensive medical care to patients. This entry‑level, full‑time position involves direct patient interaction, emergency management, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide medical care, assess and diagnose patients, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform general medical procedures and minor surgeries as required.
- Manage emergencies and monitor patient progress throughout treatment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support hospital quality‑improvement activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent medical degree.
- Registered and licensed with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Strong diagnostic abilities and patient‑management skills.
