About the role
International Community Health Services (ICHS) is seeking a Medical Referral Specialist to join its team. You will be part of a mission‑driven organization that values respect, collaboration and compassion, helping to strengthen communities by ensuring patients receive timely care. The role involves managing patient referrals, coordinating insurance screening and providing general office support.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and coordinate their referrals.
- Assist with insurance screening and verification.
- Process referral paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Perform general office duties as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills valued.
