Medical Representative

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Medical Representative to promote our client’s healthcare products across Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. The role involves building strong relationships with doctors, clinics and pharmacies while driving sales and market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Promote healthcare products and services to healthcare professionals and corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and other providers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Prepare and execute territory sales plans and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Conduct product presentations, educational sessions and support after‑sales service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, diagnostic or healthcare services sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and capable of working independently.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
