Modern Trade Sales Executive

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Modern Trade Sales Executive for a full-time position in the FMCG industry. The role drives sales growth in supermarkets, hypermarkets and large retail outlets, and the stated pay is KSHS 30,000 plus commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth in modern trade channels and develop sales strategies to hit monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate product listings and monitor competitors.
• Build strong relationships with modern trade clients, handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and foster long-term partnerships.
• Plan and run in-store promotions and product activations, ensure shelf placement and merchandising compliance, and work with marketing teams on campaigns.
• Work with supply chain, finance and marketing teams and share market insights.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, track KPIs and give management market intelligence.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in modern trade sales within FMCG.
• Proven track record managing large-scale retail outlets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Required skills

• Ability to design and implement trade marketing strategies.
• MS Office proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools are an added advantage.
