Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) Expert

About the role

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is seeking a Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM) Expert to support its Directorate of SDG Innovation and Economic Transformation. This is a national consultant position based in Kenya, appointed on a temporary basis until 31 December 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert support for monitoring and results measurement activities across UNIDO programmes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring frameworks and tools.
• Collect, analyse, and report data to inform programme performance and impact.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely results reporting.

Required profile

• Kenyan national or permanent resident.
• Mid‑level to senior professional with relevant experience in monitoring and results measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a UN or development environment.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
