Node.js Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Node.js Developer to join our client’s remote team on a contract basis. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable server‑side applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise backend services using Node.js to support application functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Integrate with databases and third‑party APIs to enhance application capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
