Online Distribution Manager – E‑Commerce (Kenya)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Online Distribution Manager to lead the e‑commerce strategy of a luxury resort in Kenya. The role will oversee all online booking channels, ensuring maximum visibility, conversion and revenue across OTAs, the hotel website and third‑party platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the property’s online distribution channels, including OTAs, brand website, booking engine and wholesale partners.
• Monitor channel performance, occupancy, revenue and conversion, and implement improvements.
• Maintain rate parity, inventory, restrictions and promotions across all platforms.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations and Sales to align pricing and availability.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns and direct‑booking initiatives.
• Ensure accurate property content – descriptions, images and offers – on every channel.
• Analyse competitor activity, market trends and booking patterns to identify commercial opportunities.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
• Work with internal and external system providers to support PMS, CRS, channel manager and booking engine operations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in e‑commerce, online distribution, reservations or revenue management within the hospitality sector.
• Previous experience in an upscale or luxury hotel, resort or lodge is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Revenue, Marketing and Sales teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on commercial results.
• Kenyan nationality (citizen) required.
