Owner – Leadership Development Initiative

About the role

The Owner will lead the Lead with CPS initiative, setting vision, strategy and direction to expand leadership development opportunities. This full‑time, on‑site position in Nairobi County focuses on program design, partnership management and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the initiative’s strategic vision and align it with broader educational goals.
• Oversee program design, implementation and continuous improvement based on data‑informed decisions.
• Manage key partnerships, budgets and resources while supervising cross‑functional teams.
• Represent the initiative at meetings, events and external forums.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, equity and professional growth for all staff.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in leadership development, talent or organisational development, preferably in education or the public sector.
• Strong strategic planning, program management and stakeholder‑engagement track record.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship‑building abilities with diverse groups.
• Proven ability to use data to monitor outcomes, evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and cross‑functional teams in complex organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, Business or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

• Willingness to work on‑site in Nairobi County and collaborate in local and international contexts.
