About the role
Amref International University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver public health education to graduate and undergraduate students in Nairobi. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and academic mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars, and skills‑based sessions in Public Health.
- Provide technical assistance in designing, developing, reviewing, and implementing curricula and syllabi.
- Develop, moderate, and administer examinations.
- Offer academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Participate in internal and external moderation processes of university examinations.
- Contribute to quality assurance, accreditation, and development of training guidelines, policies, and business plans.
- Mentor junior academic staff and represent the department at academic and public engagements.
