Part-time Sociology Teacher – Tana Toraja

About the role
Ruangguru’s Akademia program is looking for a part‑time Sociology teacher to join its English Academy in the Tana Toraja region. You will deliver live lessons, support student learning pathways and collaborate with fellow Master Teachers.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Sociology (or related social studies) to students of various education levels in a classroom setting.
- Provide coaching, mentorship and act as a role model for other Master Teachers.
- Conduct consultations with students and parents together with a Student Advisor to recommend appropriate learning tracks.
- Run Homework Clinics to help students overcome academic challenges.
- Participate in trial classes and share best practices with regional teams.
- Meet the minimum required teaching and trial‑class sessions.
- Develop learning materials and assignments aligned with the curriculum.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Willingness to teach at the selected Ruangguru branch in Tana Toraja.
- Enthusiastic about initiating new teaching methods.
