About the role
Strong Start Limited is seeking a part‑time Early Childhood Development Teacher to deliver classes and run play‑groups across Nairobi. The role involves using the 5‑Domains of Early Learning framework to create stimulating, play‑based experiences for children and support caregivers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled classes and play‑groups following lesson plans and teacher guides.
- Prepare and organise materials and resources in advance to meet class objectives.
- Communicate learning objectives clearly to children and adult caregivers.
- Adapt teaching locations and timings flexibly across various Nairobi venues.
- Maintain professionalism by meeting deadlines, managing schedules and arriving on time.
Required profile
- Passion for early childhood development and alignment with positive learning approaches.
- Ability to work with both child and adult learners.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to grow professionally.
- Flexibility to travel to different locations and adjust teaching hours.
Required skills
