Part‑Time Lecturer in Health Economics

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a qualified individual to join its faculty on a part‑time basis as a Lecturer in Health Economics. The successful candidate will contribute to the university’s teaching mission by delivering high‑quality lectures, seminars, and assessments in health economics for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lecture modules, tutorials and practical sessions in health economics.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations and other assessment materials.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of course content.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics (or a closely related field).
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
