Part‑time Peer Reviewer – Medicinal Chemistry (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in medicinal chemistry to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers. This remote, long‑term position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by evaluating cutting‑edge manuscripts.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in medicinal chemistry or a related field.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
