Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer – Manufacturing Engineering PhD

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field to join our long‑term, part‑time peer‑review team. This remote position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by evaluating manuscripts submitted to reputable journals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and scientific soundness.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑review‑ready publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
