Patient Care Coordinator (US Healthcare)

About the role
Provide high-quality patient support while managing scheduling, records, and communication for US healthcare patients in Nairobi. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Kenya’s Data Protection Act, delivering an excellent patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Handle patient inquiries in person, via phone, and email.
- Schedule appointments, optimizing availability and managing double‑booking when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems.
- Verify patient eligibility and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Kenya’s Data Protection Act and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
- De‑escalate patient concerns professionally.
Required profile
- Experience with medical scheduling and EHR/EMR systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA or data privacy standards.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.
- Conflict‑resolution skills.
