About the role
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will dispense medications and manage pharmacy operations within a hospital setting in Nairobi. This full‑time position requires a strong background in pharmacology and compliance with local pharmacy regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate pharmacy stock, handle procurement, and ensure compliance with hospital standards and the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Prepare precise prescriptions, manage patient records, and support insurance claim and billing processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a hospital or equivalent healthcare facility.
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution and a valid PPB license.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage requirements.
- Competence in pharmacy stock management, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
