Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Lang'ata, Nairobi)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist or Pharmaceutical Technologist to join a busy community pharmacy in Lang'ata, Nairobi. The role involves providing high‑quality dispensing services and patient‑centred care in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct over‑the‑counter (OTC) patient assessments and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Provide patient counselling on medication use, side effects and adherence.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support the pharmacy team with inventory management and daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a dispensing or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Proven ability to assess OTC patients and deliver effective counselling.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care.
