About the role
Sawari Hospitality Solutions is recruiting a Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo) for a new contemporary Neapolitan‑style pizza restaurant in Nairobi. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and involves preparing high‑quality pizzas in a casual bar setting while upholding strict hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough, toppings, and sauces according to authentic Neapolitan recipes.
- Cook pizzas in a high‑heat oven, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory of food and beverage items, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to support a fast‑paced service environment.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in pizza making.
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef is a plus but not mandatory.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is beneficial.
