Procurement Officer – Hotel Supply Chain

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead the hotel’s supply chain, ensuring that high‑quality goods and services are sourced at competitive prices while adhering to strict budget and inventory controls. This role supports the hotel’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and procurement plans.
• Identify, vet, and build strong relationships with suppliers for all hotel needs.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules without compromising quality.
• Draft and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
• Partner with department heads to forecast supply needs based on occupancy, seasons, and events.
• Monitor shelf life of Food & Beverage items to reduce waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Align purchase orders with monthly and annual departmental budgets.
• Review purchase requisitions for cost‑saving opportunities and bulk discounts.
• Inspect delivered goods for quantity, quality, and specifications before acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and relevant regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using Property Management Systems or inventory software such as Fidelio, Opera, Materials Control, or SAP.
