Project Manager – Angaza Program Consortium

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the Angaza Program Consortium, overseeing implementation across multiple counties in Kenya. Based in Turkana, the role requires on‑site coordination, field visits and close partnership with government, refugee agencies and NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and coordinate planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of program activities across consortium partners.
• Establish and strengthen implementation systems, SOPs, coordination workflows and accountability structures.
• Serve as the main liaison with donors, manage reporting, review meetings and site visits.
• Lead work planning, target tracking, performance reviews and adaptive programming using monitoring and evaluation data.
• Mentor and supervise consortium teams, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing culture.
• Work with the Finance Lead to ensure sound budget management, resource allocation and value‑for‑money principles.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 10 years progressive experience managing large donor‑funded programs, with at least 5 years managing multi‑partner consortiums.
• Proven ability to establish effective implementation systems and operational structures.
• Strong understanding of refugee programming, youth livelihoods, gender and economic inclusion.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
