Project Manager – Marketing (Food & Beverage/FMCG)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong marketing background in the Food & Beverage and FMCG sectors. You will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of market development initiatives for key brands, ensuring alignment with sales targets and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement market development strategies and sales plans for the BonPop and Kingfisher brands.
• Achieve annual sales point expansion by recruiting and activating 20+ new sales points each month.
• Manage external marketing agencies, including briefings, performance reviews, KPI tracking, and contract negotiations.
• Plan, coordinate, and launch digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and e‑commerce channels.
• Ensure brand consistency, oversee creative approvals, and maintain campaign timelines.
• Administer marketing budgets, monitor ROI, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to align initiatives.
• Prepare monthly marketing performance reports and recommend strategic adjustments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on project management experience, covering the full project lifecycle.
• Proven experience in the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or frozen foods industry.
• Regional sales experience with a solid understanding of the Kenyan market.
• Experience managing agencies and executing digital marketing programmes.
• Familiarity with below‑the‑line (BTL) and digital marketing channels.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong professional ethics.
