About the role
The Purchasing Trainee will work under the Training Manager and Departmental Trainer to learn hotel purchasing processes, manage contracts and support the procurement team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage department contracts and purchasing requests.
- Create and maintain departmental files, databases and records.
- Perform data entry, research for purchasing projects and prepare accurate reports.
- Authorize payments by forwarding receiving documentation and liaise with accounting to reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
- Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Procurement (or completed coursework) from a recognised institution.
- Kenyan citizen with no prior work experience required.
- Graduated or less than one year since completion (2025/2026).
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
Required skills
- Data entry.
- Database creation and maintenance.
- Report preparation.
