Quality Specialist – Construction

About the role

KEDA Ceramics International Ltd is looking for a Quality Specialist – Construction to lead quality assurance and control for its expansion projects. The role involves inspecting materials, reviewing drawings, and ensuring all construction activities meet the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings using CAD software, confirming dimensions, layouts, and structural details.
• Inspect incoming materials such as cement, concrete, steel, and aggregates to ensure they meet approved specifications.
• Implement quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and testing requirements throughout the construction process.
• Identify defects and non‑conformities, document findings, and coordinate corrective actions with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors.
• Coordinate material sampling, laboratory testing, and other quality assessments.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, test results, and non‑conformance reports.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, construction standards, and company quality procedures.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality issues and support timely project handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in construction quality assurance, quality control, or site inspection is an advantage.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, for reading technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
