Recruitment Candidate Consultant – UK Education (Remote, Kenya)

About the role

UCM Education is seeking 1‑2 Recruitment Candidate Consultants to join its UK Education desks from Kenya. The role is fully remote and focuses on fast‑paced candidate delivery for early years, teachers, teaching assistants and SEN staff placed in UK schools.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage education candidates using the existing database, job boards and other recruitment channels.
• Screen CVs, conduct telephone interviews and assess suitability, communication skills and availability.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines through consistent follow‑up and timely updates.
• Accurately record all activity in the CRM and book candidates for next recruitment steps.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to meet placement targets and support desk activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in candidate‑facing recruitment.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume phone and email communication.
• Coachable, driven and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or candidate management systems.
• Proficiency in using job boards and online sourcing tools.
