Regional Sales Manager – Kenya

About the role

Jafari Credit Limited (JCL) is a digital credit provider focused on Kenya's civil servants and salaried employees. We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across Central Kenya, Coast, Eastern, North Rift, and Western regions. The role involves building high‑performing teams, growing employer partnerships, and meeting ambitious disbursement targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a minimum monthly regional disbursement target of KES 10 million.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop Sales Team Leaders and Sales Agents across the assigned regions.
• Maintain a strong talent pipeline through continuous recruitment and succession planning.
• Set clear performance targets, monitor results, and hold team members accountable.
• Drive employer acquisition and market expansion initiatives.
• Monitor productivity, conversion rates, and portfolio quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Credit, HR, Marketing, and Operations to meet regional objectives.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Additional professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in micro‑finance or financial services.
• Proven track record of recruiting, developing and leading high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
