Healthcare Product Manager – Kenya

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Product Manager to own the growth and subscription performance of Baggins Health, a cloud‑based hospital information system, in Kenya. You will work independently, targeting hospitals, clinics and other healthcare organisations to convert them into paying subscribers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire healthcare institutions that need a modern hospital management platform.
• Develop and execute market‑specific growth and customer‑acquisition strategies.
• Present and demonstrate the platform’s EMR, patient‑management, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inpatient care and financial modules.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, demonstrations and commercial outcomes, and report verified subscription revenue.
• Monitor subscription renewals, minimise churn and provide feedback for product improvement.

Required profile

• Professional experience in healthcare administration, hospital operations or health‑technology sales.
• Strong knowledge of hospital and clinic workflows, patient administration and data‑privacy requirements.
• Proven ability to build and manage a commercial pipeline without a supporting sales team.
• Excellent communication skills with senior healthcare decision‑makers.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
