Registered Nurse – Clinical Triage & Member Advocacy

About the role

As a Registered Nurse I at Transcarent, you will serve as a trusted resource for members, providing clinical expertise in triage, healthcare navigation, and advocacy. You will assess health concerns, prioritize needs, and deliver evidence‑based recommendations to ensure timely, appropriate care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic, holistic clinical assessments to identify and prioritize member needs.
• Provide education and evidence‑based guidance on healthcare decisions, referring members to internal programs and trusted partners such as virtual primary care and expert second opinions.
• Collaborate with program partners in telemedicine, diabetes management, physical therapy, gender‑diverse support, and behavioral health.
• Prepare members for upcoming healthcare events by explaining procedures, medications, testing, and treatment options.
• Maintain HIPAA‑compliant data integrity in real‑time member records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (Compact/NLC preferred).
• Minimum 3 years recent clinical experience in direct patient care.
• Ability to support behavioral health needs as required.
• Willingness to work hybrid schedule and occasional travel.

Required skills

• Strong clinical acumen, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Technological fluency with ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
