Resident Agriculture & Physics Teacher – Tatu Boys High School

About the role

Nova Pioneer seeks an enthusiastic Agriculture and Physics teacher to join the Tatu Boys High School community starting January 2027. The role involves delivering engaging, inquiry‑based lessons and contributing to the broader school culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Agriculture and Physics lessons using the 5E inquiry model and integrate interactive technology.
• Monitor student progress daily, create reteach plans, and provide differentiated instruction.
• Participate actively in school life, including clubs, sports, and boarding duties, and act as a chaperone for out‑of‑school activities.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, implement Restorative Justice and PBIS practices, and manage behavior trackers.
• Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, WhatsApp groups, and bi‑weekly phone calls regarding academic and behavioral matters.

Required profile

• TSC certificate or relevant teaching certification.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education qualified for one or two subjects.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility, problem‑solving ability and comfort with change and ambiguity.
