Retail/Store Supervisor I (Tier 2) - Manda Bay

About the role

Fluor Corporation is hiring a Retail/Store Supervisor I (Tier 2) in Mombasa. The supervisor oversees and directs the daily activities, schedules and assignments of employees involved in storage, inventory and distribution of materials and tools, supervising 2 to 4 personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, hire and train clerks, stockers and other warehouse staff, and assign jobs and projects so deadlines are met safely and accurately.
• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Oversee receipt and verification of incoming shipments, ensuring materials are unloaded, stored and verified according to policy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of finished goods and detailed records of available products and their storage locations.
• Carry out regular inventory checks, random checks at least weekly and thorough checks at least monthly, and report results to the manager.
• Delegate customer order fulfilment to staff and maintain the inventory database when orders are fulfilled.
• Operate the cash register, close out daily receipts in accounting systems, account for cash and credit receipts and deposit funds appropriately.
• Record missing or stolen merchandise and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of related experience highly preferred.
