Revenue Accountant

About the role

The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for accurate billing, timely collection, reconciliation and reporting of all hospital revenue. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, this role safeguards income, minimizes revenue leakage and ensures compliance with SHA, insurance and internal billing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify hospital billing statements and ensure timely collection.
• Reconcile revenue accounts and produce regular financial reports.
• Monitor compliance with SHA, insurance contracts and internal billing procedures.
• Identify and address revenue leakage and billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA(K) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue or billing functions within a hospital or high‑volume service environment.
• Knowledge of hospital management systems (e.g., HMS) and SHA billing.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Familiarity with hospital management systems.
