Riders Supervisor

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management firm operating across East Africa. On behalf of its client, a leading security industry company, it is hiring a Riders Supervisor in Nairobi to oversee and coordinate a team of riders so that services are delivered on time, safely and efficiently. The client is looking for someone with prior experience managing riders, a valid driving licence and who is aged 35 and above.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the rider team, including scheduling and route allocation.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure full coverage of shifts and delivery schedules.
• Monitor rider performance, punctuality and adherence to safety and traffic regulations.
• Conduct rider briefings and train riders on protocols, safety and customer service.
• Track and document deliveries, incidents and rider attendance accurately.
• Address operational issues and rider concerns promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary.
• Ensure riders keep their motorcycles or vehicles maintained and hold valid licences and documentation.
• Submit daily, weekly and performance reports to management.
• Respond to client inquiries and service issues related to rider operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in rider or field operations, with 1-2 years supervising riders.
• Aged 35 years and above.
• Valid driving licence (motorcycle and/or vehicle).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
