Sales Account Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to join our team in Nairobi. In this role you will manage and grow relationships with our most valuable hospitality clients, drive revenue and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships.
• Create and implement strategic account plans to maximise revenue growth.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs and present solutions.
• Monitor and report on account performance, sales forecasts and key metrics.
• Stay informed about market trends, competition and industry developments.
• Resolve client issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluency in English and Swahili with solid understanding of the Kenyan and East African market.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
