About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales and Collections Intern to join our dynamic sales team at Tenakata. This on‑site internship offers hands‑on experience in market research, lead generation, cold calling, and supporting both sales and collections activities.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Business Development Officers and Collections Officers.
- Support the branch in achieving its sales targets.
- Deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Assist in preparing accurate management reports and market feedback.
- Contact debtors to receive payments and follow up on defaulters.
- Provide customer education and maintain client relationships.
- Generate and qualify new sales leads.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree (general education).
- Computer literacy.
- Educational background in Sales or Marketing.
- Previous experience in a related field is an advantage.
- Experience in a financial institution is a plus.
