Sales Engineer - Industrial Equipment

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Sales Engineer based on Mombasa Road. The role combines technical consultation and solution selling with B2B sales and business development for industrial equipment such as stainless-steel tanks, dairy equipment and milk processing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients on their technical, operational and production needs and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, product specifications and commercial offers with the technical team, and run site visits, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Identify and manage B2B opportunities in dairy, food processing, manufacturing, agriculture and related sectors, keeping the pipeline healthy and negotiating commercial terms.
• Build relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, engineers, plant managers and distributors.
• Generate new leads through market research, networking, referrals and industry events, and monitor competitors and market trends.
• Support delivery, installation, commissioning and handover, and provide post-sales support and follow-up to find upgrades and new opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, engineering sales or industrial equipment sales.
• Proven track record selling technical products or industrial equipment to businesses.
• Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, pipeline management, negotiation and business development.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to close high-value sales.
• Technical knowledge of stainless-steel tanks, dairy equipment or milk processing systems is highly desirable.
