Sales Executive – Adhesives (East Africa)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Executive to drive sales of hot‑melt, water‑based and other industrial adhesives across Kenya and the wider East and Southern African markets. The role focuses on acquiring new accounts, expanding existing relationships and supporting export opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of B2B customers, including manufacturers, distributors and industrial end‑users.
• Promote and sell hot‑melt, water‑based adhesives and glue solutions, tailoring proposals to customer needs.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, close orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Conduct market visits, identify new business opportunities and track competitor activity.
• Coordinate with technical, production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of industrial/B2B sales experience, preferably in adhesives, chemicals, packaging or related sectors.
• Established network of manufacturers, distributors or industrial customers in Kenya, East and Southern Africa.
• Proven ability to achieve sales and revenue targets and develop new markets.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hot‑melt adhesives, water‑based adhesives and glue products.
• Strong commercial negotiation and relationship‑management capabilities.
