Sales Executive – Concrete, Materials & Equipment

About the role

A growing construction supplies and equipment company is looking for an aggressive, results-oriented Sales Executive covering concrete, building materials and construction machinery. The role focuses on sourcing new construction projects, securing supply contracts and expanding the company's market presence across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and secure high-value supply contracts for ready-mix concrete, building materials and construction machinery.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, property developers, structural engineers and project managers.
• Visit sites regularly, track the project pipeline and negotiate with clients to close deals quickly.
• Prepare accurate quotes, negotiate contract terms, coordinate logistics and oversee payment collections.
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5+ years of verified sales experience in building materials, ready-mix concrete or heavy construction equipment.
• Proven track record of closing high-value deals and hitting targets in the Kenyan market, with portfolio or verified references.
• Strong network of contractors, civil engineering firms and real estate developers in Kenya.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of concrete grades, material specifications and machinery applications.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and closing skills.
