Sales Executive

About the role

Apliman is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive growth of its telecom and digital engagement solutions across Kenya, Tanzania and the wider East & Southern African markets. The role is fully remote and focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships and managing the complete sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Kenya, Tanzania and the broader region.
• Promote and sell Apliman’s telecom, digital, enterprise and technology solutions to mobile operators, service providers and other potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Develop strategic partnerships with technology partners, system integrators, resellers and distributors.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to presentations, negotiations and closing.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain the sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Stay updated on telecom industry trends, competitor activities and market developments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Technical and Revenue & Optimization teams to support business growth.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Currently based in Kenya or Tanzania.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in telecom or technology.
• Strong knowledge of the telecom and technology market in Kenya, Tanzania or the wider East & Southern African region.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
