Sales Executive – Jewellery

About the role

Join a luxury jewellery retail team in Westlands, Nairobi, delivering an exceptional shopping experience to discerning customers. You will be responsible for promoting the brand, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales of high‑value jewellery pieces.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable jewellery items.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to increase sales.
• Stay updated on collections, gemstones, precious metals, pricing and industry trends.
• Ensure accurate tagging, pricing and visual merchandising of all items.
• Receive, inspect and record incoming stock; conduct regular inventory counts.
• Follow security procedures to protect valuable merchandise.
• Process transactions through the POS system and comply with eTIMS requirements.
• Handle cash, card and mobile‑money payments and reconcile at shift end.
• Provide after‑sales support, including exchanges, repairs and warranties.
• Follow up with customers post‑purchase to ensure satisfaction.
• Support marketing events, promotions and product launches.
• Prepare daily sales, inventory and customer feedback reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1 month of retail or sales experience, preferably in luxury jewellery.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
