Sales Intern - Fashion Boutique

About the role

BESTMAN, an upscale boutique in Nairobi CBD selling designer clothing, accessories and shoes for men, is looking for a Sales Intern. The internship lets you work alongside the sales team and gain hands-on experience in fashion retail, covering styling, inventory and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find outfits, accessories or gifts and give personalized styling advice
• Explain the collections' features and benefits to customers
• Support the sales team in keeping visual merchandising standards
• Take part in inventory tasks such as receiving, tagging and organizing new merchandise
• Handle sales transactions and keep accurate sales records
• Follow up with customers after purchase
• Keep up with fashion trends and industry news

Required profile

• Passion for fashion and a strong interest in men's grooming
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, friendly and approachable
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems (a plus)
