Sales Operations Manager

About the role

Career Directions Limited (CDL) is hiring a Sales Operations Manager in Nairobi, reporting to the Directors. The role leads the day-to-day performance of the sales function through leadership, coaching and accountability, driving team productivity, sales execution and consistent delivery of targets. The employer is looking for a sales leader with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery of team sales targets through strong leadership and disciplined performance management.
• Drive accountability and sharpen sales execution across the team.
• Build a resilient, motivated, high-performing sales culture that sustains results month after month.
• Set clear goals, run regular performance reviews and develop each team member's capability.
• Establish a daily operating rhythm, including huddles, pipeline reviews and follow-up discipline.
• Track, analyse and report on sales performance, and turn strategy into daily action.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team on a daily basis, setting the energy and standard on the floor.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role (e.g. Sales Manager, Regional/Area Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Agency Manager, Unit Manager or equivalent).
• Experience in the Banking or Insurance industry is strongly encouraged.
