About the role

The Segment Marketing Manager – Premium will translate approved segment pools, commercial priorities and premium customer needs into compelling propositions, customer journeys and activation plans. Reporting to the Segment Lead, you will own the end‑to‑end path from need identification to value realization for high‑value customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Convert segment priorities, lifestyle moments, financial services opportunities and loyalty triggers into executable premium value plays.
  • Design and activate propositions that deepen engagement, increase attachment and drive retention.
  • Ensure premium customers experience Safaricom as simple, reliable, rewarding and worth more of their spend.
  • Create foundations for deeper ecosystem participation, repeat usage and higher product depth.
  • Manage the journey from premium need identification through activation and first meaningful value realization.

Required profile

  • Reports to the Segment Lead.
  • Responsible for converting segment insights into activation plans.
