Senior Account Executive - Business Development

About the role

Stratostaff East Africa is hiring a Senior Account Executive for business development in Nairobi. The role focuses on building new relationships with existing and potential clients to drive revenue growth, while maintaining a pipeline of prospects and protecting current business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and establish new relationships with existing and potential clients to drive revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain a credible pipeline of prospective clients and implement growth strategies to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
• Communicate value propositions clearly to existing and prospective clients and maintain strong relationships with current clients to protect and retain business.
• Develop and execute targeted sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives, and help develop product distribution channels to expand market reach.
• Manage a calendar of marketing campaigns for consistent, strategic outreach.
• Provide weekly and monthly production reports and analyse sales data and market trends to inform business development strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Diploma in Insurance (ACII/AIIK).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general insurance sales.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in insurance or financial services with a focus on bancassurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
